Glad to see you stopped by the “Teach Me” section of the site. Right now this area offers 3 main areas:
1) Homework Help
2) College Reviews
3) Show Me The Way
There is just way too much info for High School kids regarding Science and Tech all over the map and there’s no one central spot for all that info. So we decided to do it ourselves for you! Consider this your STEM one-stop shop.
Homework help is here, giving you links to help you conquer class problems or prep for tests. And if you need 1 on 1 attention NOW, one feature you can use is Tutor.com’s (there is a charge and they are not affiliated with TechTechBoom.com). In the near future, we will have online 1 on 1 homework help all for free.
College Reviews is here to give you real reviews from college students themselves about the schools they are attending so you get a clear picture of the campus, education and tech life. We’ve also took the time to pull together a list of Science, Tech & Engineering colleges. No more running around the web to find out about universities and college info about tech-based universities.
Show Me the Way to, mentors, internships & careers.
The Mentor section (COMING SOON) will be a place where we will match up TechTechBoom members, like you, with tech industry mentors. Are you interested in video game programming? We will match you up with a professional game developer etc…We are working hard with some of the coolest tech companies to bring on mentors. Tech professionals contact us immediately to get more info on being a mentor.
Internships and Jobs – NOW! We are constantly adding new science and tech jobs and internships just for you! Many sites focus internships on college students – well don’t sweat it anymore we are your source for teens.
Also, don’t forget to hook up with your friends in the lounge to see if they could give you a little help with any of your homework problems. The lounge is filled with students all doing STEM and might have the answer that you need. Especially now that you have a place where all the STEM kids are just hanging out!
This is a brand new Beta website and we are currently working on partnerships and advanced features in all of the areas mentioned above and much more coming soon. Our goal is to offer you help in this section all for free. This is your website so we would love to hear your ideas and feedback on what you would like to have in this “Teach Me” section.
